POLICIES

CLIENTS MUST PRESENT A GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO I.D.

ONLY  clients 18 and older with a government issued photo I.D. are permitted.

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF I.D.: Drivers License, Passport , State I.D. Card

APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED

 In order to provide each client with undivided attention, appointments are required at Bully Ink. 

Only clients with appointments are permitted into the studio. 

HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT:

Submit inquiries by clicking the button below and submitting a appointment request form.

If the artist accepts your request  you will then be able to move forward with the booking process.

CONSULTATIONS:

  • Majority of the time the artist is able to communicate design details, answer questions and complete the consultation process via email or phone. 
  • If additional information is needed the artist may request a consultation.
  • In person consultations are preferred if you are local, virtual consultations are available if you are coming from a distance.
  • Consultation appointments are free, however  a deposit is required to reserve your tattoo session date or dates if working in multiple sessions.

WHEN CONSULTING WITH AN ARTIST:

  • Communication between client and the artist is key. 
  • Openly communicating any specifications likes, dislikes and goals you may have for your tattoo will help the artist to better understand your expectations.
  • You are welcome to send any photo references and questions you may have or would like to discuss with the artist.  
  • It can be helpful to make a list of your design ideas or questions you may have beforehand and bring this with you to the consultation.
  • The artist will take notes and may request photos to refer back to during the designing process.
  •  For the best outcome of your tattoo, the  artist will suggestions, changes or different interpretations for your design.  It is VERY important for you to be open minded throughout this process.
  • After consulting with the artist you will then be able to plan a date for your tattoo appointment.  
  •  A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE  YOUR TATTOO SESSION DATE/ DATES.

DEPOSIT POLICY:

  • A deposit is required to reserve an appointment date/time for any tattoo. Placing a deposit allows the artist to begin designing your tattoo. 
  • ​All tattoo appointments require a deposit to be placed before the appointment date & time will be reserved. 
  •  Deposits are $200.00, which will be deducted from the balance of your  tattoo on the day of your appointment or final session.  
  •  DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
  • In the event that you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment please allow a minimum of 7 business days notice by contacting the studio directly 410.956.5616 or bullyinktattoo@gmail.com
  • Once your request has been accepted and you are ready to reserve a date for your tattoo session, you can place your deposit in person or by clicking below.

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS:

  • CASH IS PREFERRED
  •  Credit and Debit cards are accepted with 4% Transaction Fee

TATTOO PRICING:

Every tattoo design is different and presents different levels of challenges.

Therefore, the cost of each tattoo can vary drastically between pieces. 

The cost determined by a few factors such as size, placement on the body, detail intricacy and the amount of time the tattoo will require to be completed.

 Large scale tattoos require a significant amount of time to complete, that time is divided into session intervals. When working in sessions, the cost is divided per session which helps to divide the total cost into a biweekly or monthly expense until the piece is complete instead of one lump sum.

HALF DAY RATES AND DAY RATES ARE AVAILABLE

DESIGNS WILL NOT BE SENT PRIOR TO YOUR SESSION.

If there is anything specific that you would like to incorporate into your design, please discuss this with the artist during your consultation or prior to reserving your appointment date.

Your design will be ready for you to view on the day of your appointment unless an earlier review date is set.

You will have time to review your design and  make minor alterations (if needed) before your tattoo session begins. 

The designing process for each tattoo can take many hours of the artist's time to compete. If a  lack of communication or information from the client causes the need to create a new design completely a re-design fee will be incurred.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS & CONCERNS:

  • Make  your artist aware of any medical conditions you have which may interfere with the tattoo process. 
  • Notify the artist  if you are taking any blood thinners, medications or supplements which may interfere with tattoo process.  
  • You can NOT receive a tattoo during pregnancy, please notify the artist  to postpone your appointment if you are pregnant. 
  • Avoid getting a sunburn in the area to be tattooed. Your skin must be healthy and free of sunburn in the area you are receiving the tattoo. You can NOT receive a tattoo on a sunburned skin area.

HOW TO RESCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT:

In the event that you need to reschedule your appointment,  please notify the Bully Ink studio via  bullyinktattoo@gmail.com.  Allowing a minimum of 7 business days prior to your scheduled appointment date will allow you to reschedule your appointment  without voiding your deposit. 

TATTOO PREP:

  • Do NOT consume alcoholic beverages for a minimum of 24 hours prior to receiving a tattoo.
  • Drink plenty of water the day before and during your session.
  • Arrive well rested, freshly showered and  on time.
  •  If you arrive early please wait in your vehicle.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area to be tattooed (tattoo ink may stain clothing, please wear clothing that you do not mind getting ruined). ​
  • Eat a meal beforehand. Much like a workout, the tattoo process will deplete the body's energy quickly. Eating beforehand will allow for a more comfortable experience. 
  • If you have a long session planned please bring a small  snacks (ie. protein bars) to help you through.
  • Bring good vibes & Positive Energy

ARTIST TRAINING:

Maryland does not currently have regulations for tattoo artists and tattoo studios to abide by,  the artist is licensed through the State of Florida Health Department. The State of Florida requires all tattoo artists to receive annual Bloodborne Pathogen Training and be certified annually through a OSHA compliant Bloodbourne Pathogens course.  Implementing proper BBP education, training  and guidelines into  standard tattoo procedures helps protect the artist and clients against the health hazards from exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials, and to reduce their risk from exposure. 

AFTER RECEIVING A TATTOO:

  • Many people describe a fresh tattoo as feeling similar to a sunburn.
  • Minor soreness and swelling can be expected for the first few days. 
  • It is normal for your tattoo to weep or leak fluid for the first few days.
  • Peeling or flaking of the tattooed area may occur during the first week. 
  • Itchiness may occur during the healing process, DO NOT PICK or SCRATCH YOUR TATTOO

FOLLOW UPS:

Each individual's body heals differently due to the different elements each individual is exposed to.

To  ensure the integrity of the tattoo & to help your piece stand the test of  time, tattoos sometimes may need a final follow up session. 

Once your tattoo is completely healed please send a few clear photos to bullyinktattoo@gmail.com. Your artist will let you know if a follow up is necessary & how much time your follow up will require.  

Follow ups are completed for a flat rate fee.
