Do you do piercings?

No. Bully Ink's sole focus is tattoos.

How old do I have to be to get tattooed?

Bully Ink will only tattoo clients 18 and older with a government issued photo I.D.

Do you take walk-ins?

No. Bully Ink is a private studio. In order to provide each client with undivided attention, appointments are required at Bully Ink.  

Do I need a consultation?

If the design is small and simplistic a consultation may not be required.  If  the design is larger and more complex or will be covering up an existing tattoo, than a consultation is required. You are welcome to send a detailed description and reference images via bullyinktattoo@gmail.com to determine if a consultation is necessary.

How to make an appointment?

Please contact via email bullyinktattoo@gmail.com or phone 410.956.5616.  After contacting the shop/artist about your tattoo design or following your consultation, we will discuss the available dates and times that work best for you. Please note consultation appointments are free, however  a deposit is required to reserve a date for your tattoo appointment.  Deposits are $100.00, which will be deducted from the balance of your  tattoo on the day of your appointment or final session.  

What does a tattoo consultation entail?

  • Consultations allow the artist to assist you with planning your design.


  • You are welcome to bring any photo references and questions you would like to discuss with the artist.  
  • The artist will take notes and photos  to refer back to during the designing process.


  • Communication between artist and client is key,  for the artist to understand the  expectations you have for your piece.  Figuring out everything that is important about your tattoo is the first step. If there is anything specific that you would like to incorporate into your design please discuss this with the artist during your consultation.


  •  The artist will give you the best advice for the quality and design of your tattoo. Please be open minded, listen to  and why the artist may suggest a change for your design.   


  • Notify the artist  if you are  currently taking any blood thinners, medications or supplements which may interfere with tattoo process.
  • After your consultation we will plan a date for your tattoo appointment.  
  • There is a  non-refundable DEPOSIT required to reserve the time for your tattoo appointment.

DEPOSIT POLICY:

  • A deposit is required to reserve an appointment date/time for any tattoo. Placing a deposit allows the artist to begin designing your tattoo. 
  • ​All tattoo appointments require a standard non-refundable deposit to be placed before the appointment date & time will be reserved. 
  •  Deposits are $100.00, which will be deducted from the balance of your  tattoo on the day of your appointment or final session.  
  • In the event that you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment please allow a minimum of 7 business days notice by contacting the studio directly 410.956.5616 or bullyinktattoo@gmail.com

How to make a deposit for to reserve a future appointment

Once you have completed a tattoo form or have contacted the artist directly to discuss your tattoo appointment you can place your deposit over the phone 410.956.5616 or place your deposit online by clicking below.

What if I need to reschedule my appointment?

To reschedule your appointment without voiding your deposit please notify the Bully Ink studio via  bullyinktattoo@gmail.com, or phone 410.956.5616 a minimum 7 business days prior to your scheduled appointment date. 

Can I view the design before my appointment?

NO DESIGNS WILL BE SENT PRIOR TO YOUR SESSION. 

If there is anything specific that you would like to incorporate into your design please discuss this with the artist during your consultation or prior to reserving your appointment date.

You will have time to sit down and make minor alterations (if needed)  to your design  before your appointment session begins. or prior to reserving your appointment date. Your design will be ready for you to view on the day of your appointment unless an earlier review date is set. Artists spend a lot of time drawing and working with the design for each tattoo, if lack of communication or information from the client causes the need to redraw or create a new design completely a re-design fee will be incurred.

How to prepare for a tattoo?

  • Notify the artist  if you are taking any blood thinners, medications or supplements which may interfere with tattoo process. 
  • Do NOT consume alcoholic beverages for a minimum of 24 hours prior to receiving a tattoo.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area to be tattooed (tattoo ink may stain clothing, please wear clothing that you do not mind getting ruined). ​
  • Eat a meal beforehand, much like a workout the tattoo process can deplete the your body's energy quickly eating before will allow for a more comfortable experience). 
  • If you have a long session planned please bring a small snack (ie. granola bar) 
  • Arrive well rested and on time.​​

Can I bring a friend to my tattoo appointment?

It is best to limit the number of people you bring with you. You can bring one friend along with you for your tattoo appointment if you must have companionship. Please make sure he or she keep themselves occupied without distracting you or your artist.  It is important for your artist to be able to focus. Please respect your artist's time, workspace and studio guidelines.

How should I take care of my tattoo?

  • Minor soreness and swelling can be expected for the first few days. 
  • Many people describe a fresh tattoo as feeling similar to a sunburn.
  • It is normal for your tattoo to weep or leak fluid for the first few days.
  • Peeling or flaking of the tattooed area may occur during the first week. 
  • Itchiness may occur during the healing process, DO NOT PICK or SCRATCH YOUR TATTOO
